Sodium monofluorophosphate Applications

1. Instead of sodium fluoride used as a mothproofing agent and tooth desensitizing agent in toothpaste formulations, it generally accounts for 0.7% to 0.76% in toothpaste formulations. At present, sodium fluoride has been basically replaced in foreign countries, and it has gained an advantage in competition with stannous fluoride.
2. Sodium monofluorophosphate is also used to clean metal surfaces and as a flux, and is also used in the manufacture of specialty glass.
3. Disodium monofluorophosphate is also used as a bactericide and preservative, such as for fluorination of drinking water. The conventional content of fluorine in drinking water is 1.0 mg/L. The aqueous solution of sodium monofluorophosphate has obvious bactericidal action against Aspergillus niger, Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella, and green. The growth and reproduction of Pseudomonas and catarrhal bacteria have obvious inhibitory effects.
